Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking a residency with Sanatōri

1. About Us

Sanatori Co, LLC, doing business as Sanatōri ("we", "us", "our"), is an on-site massage residency company based in Sacramento, California. We provide therapeutic massage services at client office locations across the United States. By booking a residency or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

2. Services

Sanatōri provides in-office wellness residencies to corporate clients. Our services include the installation of a professional therapeutic environment at your premises and the delivery of individual massage sessions to your employees over the course of the residency period (up to four days).

The specific services available to employees depend on the package purchased by the client company. Services include but are not limited to: Desk Reset, Wrist & Forearm Restore, Clarity Reset, Lower Back Relief, Legs & Feet Revive, Total Reset Full Body Therapy, and Detox (lymphatic drainage). Add-ons such as aromatherapy, hot towel treatment, cupping therapy, and LED light therapy are available in select packages.

All sessions are performed by licensed massage therapists holding valid California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) certification or equivalent state licensure.

3. Booking & Payment

A residency is confirmed upon receipt of a signed agreement and payment of the agreed flat-rate fee. Pricing is as follows at time of publication:

  • Foundations Week — $3,600 (flat rate, up to 4 days, up to 48 employees)
  • Relief Week — $4,200 (flat rate, up to 4 days, up to 40 employees)
  • Total Reset Week — $5,400 (flat rate, up to 4 days, up to 28 employees)

All prices are in USD. Pricing is subject to change. The rate quoted at the time of booking confirmation is binding for that residency.

Payment is due in full prior to the start of the residency unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer or credit card.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellation more than 14 days before the residency start date: full refund
  • Cancellation 7–14 days before the residency start date: 50% refund
  • Cancellation fewer than 7 days before the residency start date: no refund
  • Rescheduling requests made more than 7 days in advance: accommodated at no charge, subject to availability
  • Rescheduling requests made fewer than 7 days in advance: subject to a rescheduling fee

In the event that Sanatōri must cancel a residency due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to illness, equipment failure, or force majeure), we will offer a full refund or rescheduled date at the client's discretion.

5. Client Responsibilities

The client company is responsible for providing:

  • A suitable, private space within the premises for the residency setup (minimum 3m × 3m per treatment area)
  • Adequate lighting, ventilation, and access to electrical outlets
  • A point of contact for logistics coordination prior to and during the residency
  • Timely communication of any access restrictions, building rules, or health and safety requirements

Employees participating in sessions are responsible for disclosing any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or contraindications to the therapist prior to their session. Sanatōri accepts no liability for adverse outcomes arising from non-disclosure.

6. Health & Safety

Our therapists are trained to conduct brief intake assessments before each session. Participation in any session is voluntary. Employees may decline or discontinue a session at any time.

Sanatōri reserves the right to decline to provide services to any individual where, in the therapist's professional judgment, doing so would be contraindicated or unsafe.

All equipment is cleaned and sanitised between sessions in accordance with professional hygiene standards. Full draping is maintained at all times during sessions.

7. Liability

Sanatōri carries professional liability insurance with a minimum of $1 million per occurrence and $3 million aggregate. All therapists are independently licensed and insured.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sanatōri's total liability to a client shall not exceed the total fees paid for the relevant residency. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Sanatōri website — including text, design, graphics, and branding — is the property of Sanatori Co, LLC and may not be reproduced without written permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sacramento County, California.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
